Townsend Systems is a well-established family business that works closely with suppliers, designers and manufacturers to provide innovative products and solutions predominantly within the furniture industry.
Having been supplied from Holland for many years, in 2017, Townsend Systems had the chance to take production of their adjustable workbenches to the U.K.
As part of this move, they required a specialist full-service sheet metal fabricator to take on the components and assembly of their products.

ADS visited Townsend Solutions warehouse in order to gain a better understanding of the company, what their products are used for and how they work in situ.
A dedicated member of ADS’s CAD team worked with them and produced some amendments to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing process was provided.
Following approval of the amended drawings, a first batch of benches was produced for Townsend Systems to carry out final testing and approval.
